Location: Samyan Mitrtown (Hybrid/Flexible) Type: Contract 3 - 6 months What You'll Do - End-to-End Design: Take ownership of the entire design process, from low-fidelity wireframes (based on existing sketches) to high-fidelity final prototypes for the web and mobile interfaces. - Marketplace Focus: Design the core features of a rental marketplace, specifically: Item Listing/Creation flow, Search/Discovery experience, Item Detail Page, and the Booking/Transaction Request workflow. - Prototyping & Testing: Create interactive prototypes in Figma for user testing and internal stakeholder feedback to validate design decisions quickly. - Developer Handoff: Provide detailed, clean, and easily digestible design specifications, components, and assets directly to our TypeScript/Next.js developers using Figma's Inspect tools. - Component Library: Establish a scalable, foundational design system (component library) in Figma for rapid future development. What We're Looking For - Figma Mastery (Mandatory): Expert proficiency in Figma for all stages of design, including auto-layout, component creation, and developer handoff. - Marketplace/Platform Experience (Mandatory): Proven, verifiable experience designing the user experience for a transactional platform, e-commerce site, or digital marketplace (e.g., shopping carts, listing flows, reviews). - Portfolio Requirement: Must submit a portfolio demonstrating successful design projects that have shipped and are currently live products. - Startup Collaboration: Experience working directly with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment, providing quick turnarounds and adapting designs based on technical feasibility and MVP constraints. - UX Principles: Deep understanding of mobile-first design, information architecture, and core usability principles.
